Kathy has more than 25 years of banking and finance lending experience. Her proficiency in originating and underwriting commercial loans with regional banks, insurance companies and investment banking firms has earned her recognition within the industry. Highly regarded by both her clients and lending sources, Kathy serves on the Board at Regal Bank, headquartered in Livingston, NJ, has been retained as an expert legal witness in commercial real estate litigation and is a featured speaker at industry conferences.
Brad’s background, experience and understanding of the full capital stack allows him to suggest the best financing structure which often includes senior debt, mezzanine and JV equity. Brad is well versed in credit underwriting and construction financing which has provided his clients maximize leveraged borrowing. Formerly with Neuberger Berman, Brad was an integral part of an investment team with a portfolio of $1.5 billion in assets. Brad is a graduate of Rider University and a Division I Athlete.
David's extensive underwriting background has equipped him with the tools necessary to originate, underwrite and close loans on behalf of his clients. He specializes in multifamily, commercial and owner-occupied real estate transactions. In addition, David handles business loans, such as working capital lines of credit and term loans. Previously with a private investment bank, David underwrote and valued commercial real estate on a national scale for institutional investors, primarily non-traded REIT’s. He is a graduate of Saint Peters University where he graduated with a business management degree and played Division I Baseball.
Abe's previous work includes underwriting and financial analysis for a large developer of retail and industrial properties throughout the United States, in addition to spearheading acquisitions of a prominent family office’s real estate division. His knowledge and experience in underwriting and acquisitions position him as an expert in commercial financing providing him the tools necessary to advise, originate and close transactions on behalf of high net worth clients. Abe is a graduate of Seton Hall University, where he graduated with an MBA in finance.
Brit graduated the University of Rhode Island in 2013 where he majored in Business and minored in communications. He joins Progress from SHI International, a technology consultancy for large companies, where he was the Business Development Manager. Brit was crucial in advising clients on their financial verticals, at times managing clients through industrial data-facility acquisitions. Here he realized a passion for CRE and an adeptness to the financing process. As such Brit joins the Progress team where he seeks to continue to build a robust client portfolio in providing custom CRE financial solutions to best leverage a client's assets.
A Monmouth County, NJ, resident for over 50 years, Rich's knowledge of the industry, the New York Metro market and wide network of lender relationships are unrivaled. Rich worked as a Partner at Center State Mortgage for 20 years until he left to start East Coast Commercial where he acted as Owner and President for 10 years. He comes to Progress from Cosmopolitan Capital Funding where he was VP of Originations. He is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association, The Realtors Association and former President of Le Tip Networking Group. On weekends you can find Rich on the golf course or spending time with family around the Jersey Shore.
Bill is well versed in the real estate field and brings 37 years of experience in the securities industry where he serviced and developed significant relationships with high net worth accredited and qualified investors, both domestically and globally. His prior position as Managing Director of a start-up REIT, and role in acquiring real estate assets, affords him the insight regarding diversified portfolios of retail, multi-family, industrial, office and medical properties.
Frank’s accounting degree and previous work experience has equipped him with the necessary understanding to provide credit underwriting for all facets of loan requests. Prior to joining the Progress Capital Team, Frank worked in a community bank as a credit analyst. In this role, he specialized in underwriting commercial loans and gained extensive experience in credit underwriting standards. Frank concentrates on performing a detailed analysis of each loan request to determine the best structure for our clients. He is also responsible for obtaining client information to secure financing as well as working directly with all parties involved in the loan closing.
Fred has more than 27 years of credit underwriting experience and works closely with borrowers and lenders to properly present loan requests based on the bank’s credit underwriting parameters. Once a loan is committed, Fred also works with third party vendors such as appraisers, structural engineers and environmental consultants for timely results.
Eli recently graduated from NYU’s Stern School of Business with a degree in finance and management. At Progress Capital Advisors he will be providing support to the loan officers for all aspects relating to the credit analysis and underwriting process. His role also includes identifying the best debt structure through a thoughtful analysis of the underlying credit to ensure that each client receives the most favorable options available. Eli also assists the loan officers and all parties involved in the financing process to source and close the loan swiftly and efficiently.
Gabby is a Deans List student pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Finance and Real Estate. At Progress Capital Advisors, she will be supporting our team of loan officers, assisting with borrowers’ credit analysis, identifying the best debt structure for our clients, and following through on all steps of the underwriting process. Gabby joins the Progress team after 4 years interning; 2 years with Harry Capital and 2 years with Prince Capital Advisors where she gained vast experience in the commercial real estate industry, wealth creation and investment strategy. She is also conversationally proficient in Mandarin, Chinese and Spanish.
Mary has been with the firm since its inception more than 25 years ago, handling all aspects of office administration for Progress Capital. Her role also includes loan administration for Progress Direct, working with investors, borrowers, attorneys and title companies to facilitate timely closings and responding to investor information requests. With her years of experience closing commercial loan transactions, Mary is glad to assist when needed to get a client to the closing table.
Matt is a marketing professional with a broad swath of experience across manufacturing, retail, B2B and B2C both domestically and internationally - throughout Western Europe. Focus is always on the bottom line, where business goals drive any marketing strategy and the tactics by which to achieve those objectives and measure the return on said investment. He has creatively applied this focus, continually diversifying his portfolio, working closely with companies spanning the fashion, beauty, floral, home accessory, incentive management, finance and custom software industries. At Progress Capital Advisors Matt manages all aspects of our marketing, content and media relations.
Lilly joined the firm in 2002 and provides assistance in numerous administrative areas, including managing the company’s client database. Her role primarily centers around supporting the marketing efforts of the company and managing its website. Lilly plays an integral role in organizing all graphic artwork and marketing materials, creating and delivering email campaigns, and promoting the company’s services and recent successes via social media platforms.
