Loan Originator in Commercial Real Estate Finance Industry

Progress Capital, a Monmouth County, NJ based CRE brokerage company is looking for two loan originators who are experienced, enthusiastic, and excited about the current real estate market. We have a young close-knit group of employees who are looking to expand the family by adding two new originators. Our market coverage centers around the Tri-State area including NJ, PA and NY (with an emphasis on Manhattan and the Boroughs). Not only do we originate traditional loans, but we also have a fully funded direct lending platform to meet all of our clients’ needs. The originators would have access to working from any location via company remote platform, incentives including incredible commission splits as well as full medical benefits and a 401k.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Work with our team to underwrite, package and submit loan proposals for Lender consideration
  • Negotiate with lenders to close the best possible loans for our clients
  • Attend events and use your current network to generate new business
  • Stay current on all changes in CRE that will affect our clients


  • 3 – 5 years commercial real estate mortgage origination experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization, time management and analytical skills
  • Self-starter and motivated team player
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products and Salesforce.

Financial Analyst

Progress Capital, a Monmouth county based Commercial Real Estate Brokerage company is seeking a hungry and excited new Financial Analyst.  Applicants must be a team player, detail oriented and client service minded individual. The ideal candidate will work directly with our loan originators and will interact daily with new and existing clients.  Our youthful team is looking for a new member to join the team with the ability to grow and advance in many different directions.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Underwrite and analyze property cash flows, personal tax returns and accountant prepared financials for businesses.
  • Prepare comprehensive loan offering memorandums to be sent to lending partners.
  • Interact daily with lending partners at financial institutions.
  • Responsible for coordinating site visits and inspections including appraisals, environmental and property condition reports.
  • Help manage the closing process by coordinating and working as a team with all 3rdparty vendors, including but not limited to, attorneys, title companies, insurance agents and brokers.

Required Education, Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college/university in finance, accounting or business preferred
  • One year of experience in commercial lending ideal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Office as well as Salesforce
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of basic financial modeling
